We welcome hikers to join us on our excursions to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
If you agree to conduct yourself as per our Constitution and Hikers Guide, you are welcome to join as a Guest
Guest hikers fall into two categories:
- Permanent resident in the Southern Cape who are looking to join Berg-En-Dal hiking club are welcome to join for maximum three hikes to evaluate and then need to apply for Membership, or
- Holidaymakers looking for a group to join for a hike or two during their stay.
Contact the Chairperson or Hike leader to enquire/confirm hike details. If they are satisfied with your abilities for a specific trail, request a spot for it.
Once confirmed, complete and sign the Indemnity form and send it to the leader by the evening on the day before the hike commences.
Club activities are usually free. However, you will be expected to contribute towards fuel costs, permit, and entry fees.
Ons verwelkom stappers om aan ons aktiwiteite deel te neem en die natuurskoon van die area te geniet
Indien u onderneem om volgens ons Grondwet en Stappersgids reëls op te tree is u welkom om as Gas deel te neem.
Gas stappers val in twee kategorieë:
- Permanente inwoners in die Suid Kaap wat belangstel om by Berg-En-Dal stapklub aan te sluit is welkom om vir maksimum drie stappe deel te neem om te evalueer en moet daarna aansoek doen vir Lidmaatskap, of
- Vakansiegangers wat graag een of twee keer saam met n groep wil stap gedurende hulle tyd hier
Kontak die Voorsitter of Stapleier om navraag te doen en reëlings te bevestig. As hulle tevrede is met u vermoeëns vir n spesifieke roete, kan u versoek om saam te stap.
Sodra u die reëlings bevestig het moet u die Vrywaringsvorm voltooi en teken en reeds teen die aand vóór die stap aan die Leier stuur.
Klub aktiwiteiete is normaalweg gratis. Maar daar sal van jou verwag word om by te dra tot brandstofkoste, permit, en toegangsfooie.
